Hey friend, the way I start of drawing is by first sketching what I want to draw on just a black or white background. Then I just treat my digital pieces like I would if I were oil painting. I apply colours and just build them up with other colours. Then I go back and do more detailed work on the piece. I really don't use a lot of brushes at all, and I have never used a tutorial either. I just sort of experiment until I do something that I like I guess. I hope this helps man. Have a great day.
Thanks for the on that old thing Masquerade. I transfered some of my older pieces into scrap, I was never totally happy with Masquerade but loved the idea so decided to give it a little reworking, had no idea scrap edits would show in peoples watches.
